Can I really do it

Okay so I know it is a long way off (11 months) but our local theater company is doing the music of Les Mis! I am going to audition. I will not chicken out, think poorly of my ability, I WILL DO THIS! Not that I really need one more thing on my full plate (I think I have spilled over to the bread and salad plates as well) but because it is something I want. I am willing to put in the hours, and drive myself absolutely crazy just to prove to myself that yes, I can do this! So let the confidence boosting begin and I think I will be getting the dessert plate out so I can fill it with this!

Blogging, one more thing for me to add to my crazy schedule!

Most of you who know me know that I have a problem. I can't say no......it just doesn't happen! That is how I get into overwhelming and obviously impossible situations. My life seems to go from meeting to event to meeting to fundraiser...etc, etc, etc. Add to that three daughters who also want to do EVERYTHING and the fact that I am their personal chauffer and you have got one crazy mom. I need to learn to breathe, say no and move on! I will, I promise, someday. Until then sanity in our family is just a far off fantasy, or will the eventual calm weekends with nothing to do make me insane? I am not sure I want to find out! So I am missing yet another Parents Club meeting tonight so I can attend my daughter's band concert! Then this weekend it is onto Pancake Breakfast with Santa, work Christmas Party, a Rotary function with my hubby and Christmas dinner for the Sports Foundation!
